What the Eyes on Bulldogs Program Does
At Eye Central Carthage in Carthage, Dr. Bradly Larson and our team are partnering with Carthage ISD to make sure no student is held back by poor vision. For students who need glasses but can’t access care, our voucher program provides a clear path forward.
Good vision supports learning, builds confidence, and opens doors for brighter futures.
How the Voucher Program Works
Step 1: Referral from School Staff
Carthage ISD teachers or counselors identify a student who may need an eye exam or glasses.
Step 2: Voucher Sent Home
The student receives a voucher that guarantees them a comprehensive eye exam at Eye Central Carthage.
Step 3: Visit Eye Central Carthage
Students receive a full eye exam. If glasses are prescribed, they’ll receive a new pair—details of what’s covered are explained at the appointment.
Why Your Donations Matter
Every dollar helps us serve more students. Whether you give $5 or $50, your donation helps cover eye exams, lenses, and frames for local children who need support.

Who qualifies for a voucher?
Students identified by Carthage ISD teachers or counselors who need help accessing eye care.
What does the voucher cover?
At minimum, each voucher covers a comprehensive eye exam. If glasses are needed, a basic pair is included. Additional options like premium lens upgrades may be available at cost—our team will discuss these with families in advance.
Do families have to pay anything?
Not for the standard exam or frames. Optional add-ons may incur a cost, but nothing is charged without prior consent.
